High winds and flying debris rarely damage siding in just one spot. We inspect the entire exterior before we start talking repairs, not just the panel you happened to spot.
When a storm rolls through Ouray, CO, what a homeowner spots first is usually only part of the story. A cracked panel by the front entry might grab your attention, but wind driven debris tends to hit siding on the sides and back of the house just as hard, often out of view. That's why our crew starts every storm call with a complete walk around the property rather than a quick look at the one area reported — damage left unnoticed can let moisture behind the wall long before it becomes visible again.
A lot of wind damage isn't dramatic cracking — it's panels that have popped loose from their locking strip while still looking intact from the ground. Those loose sections can quietly let water in with every rainfall. Our crew checks for this manually, running hands along seams and corners to catch anything that isn't sitting flush anymore. When damage turns up, we match replacement material as closely as we can to what's already on the house and refasten everything to code, rather than just pressing it back into place.
Storm repairs in Ouray, CO often go hand in hand with insurance claims, so our team documents everything found during the inspection with photos and written notes homeowners can hand straight to their adjuster. Acting quickly after a storm matters — continued exposure only compounds the damage, and a well documented assessment tends to move claims along faster. After #YEARS years of responding to storm damage across the area, this crew treats speed and thoroughness as equally non-negotiable, since a rushed, incomplete fix usually just means a repeat call after the next system rolls through.
Sooner rather than later. Every rainfall after storm damage occurs adds more moisture behind the wall, and waiting often turns a manageable repair into a much larger project.
Absolutely. Our technician photographs and logs every area of damage found during the walkaround, giving you documentation ready to share with your adjuster.
Not necessarily. If a panel isn't cracked, it can often be refastened properly and reused. Each panel is inspected on its own rather than assuming the whole section is a loss.
